Question about Rebuilding a tranny

Okay guys and girls, here is my problem;
I want to rebuild my trans, not because it needs it but it does have about 150k on it right now and is original. I have read all the hype all the companies put out and I am looking for suggestions.
I can afford to spend about 3500 on a rebuild, but I am unsure of what company to use.
I have a 2002 Excursion 4x4, mildly chipped with an Edge Evolution and is my daily driver. It will be pulling close to it's max capacity on occasion, but for the most part it will be driving on the freeway.
IN your opinion what company or mods should I do and why. Please don't say "because it's cool" or something like that. I would like real answers. And a god shop in the Puget Sound area to do the work that won't take my money.
Thank You in advance
