TW extreme tranny slippage

When accelerating from a stop on the TW extreme tune my transmission feels like it slips all the way thru first gear then shifts hard and chirps second. At first I thought the tires were spinning but I don't hear or feel spinning so it's got to be slippage. I'm assuming it's my crappy stock torque converter not being able to hold the power. Is there anything else that could be causing this inside the tranny? Thx.

Put it manual 1 and see if it still feels that way?
