New trans wont go in O.D.

Got my newly rebuilt 4r100 finally put back in. Let her warm up, checked fluids, then took her on a short drive. At about 50MPH she shifted pretty hard into Overdrive, then she wouldn't do it again after that. The OD light on the shifter is blinking and no matter how high the RPMs get, no overdrive. Any suggestion please?

*Note* the tranny shop I used was questionable at best.

Did they do the rebuild, you did the re-install?

I think I'd still call them. Either they didn't do something right or you missed something during the install (if you did it that way).

Agreed. It set a code they should be able to scan it and go from there.

Yes, they did the rebuild, I installed. Like I said, they were a horrible experience by the time it was over, won't return calls, filed against them with the Better Business Bureua, and so. Anyway, that part is a dead issue, now I just need to get this thing running again. I'm 99% I didn't do anything wrong, I've pulled and put in a 4r100 a few times, and I was surgical with this install.
