overdrive light flashing after a hard short drive

i pulled out of 7-11 tonite and was on the high side of being really pissed. nobody on the road so a short full throttle pull was all i did.i feathered the throttle to keep the tires from spinning. shortly there after the OD light started to blink. i didnt notice anything else and no other cel popped up. the tranny has a BD tc,magtec tranny pan and other upgraded parts. im not sure on what valve body it has,i think its a trans-go.

what would cause this? i do have a TDP chip so it does already shift firm.im half tempted to drop the pan,swap in a woods VB and run fresh fluid through it. im open to ideas and ill scan it in the morning. what are common fixes for this tranny? ive read that the VSS can go bad.
