6.0 Cooler Swap Questions

I am replacing the trans cooler in my 99 F250, possibly with the 6.0 cooler I've seen mentioned in various posts here. I had some questions for those familiar with it;
-From various pictures online it looks as though it mounts with the inlet and outlet pointing down, causing the fluid to flow up, across and back down-is this actually the way it mounts? Original cooler is mounted so flow is down, across, then up and out.
-Are the inlet/outlet fittings just slip on hose type for 1/2" hose?
-Has anyone had any luck with the V10 cooler sold on DieselSite?
Thank You

you just have to get a 3/8's to 1/2 adapter. the cooler itself bolts right in in the factory position. as for the v-10 cooler, you can probably go on ebay and get a 6.0 from less money that is the same size as your stocker and the v-10 combined
