whining noise
hey 2000 f350, 7.3l auto, it came into the shop its not my personal vehicle i have a 99. but i know these are common for the torque converter going bad, this truck has about 187k miles on it and it did feel kinda sluggish 1-2k miles ago compared to mine with with 228k. No forward or reverse gears even move the truck, fluid is full and its got almost a whining noise, about from the converter area? Would this be the famous converter noise??

What are you using to read the codes? I had/have a "check eng" light come on every so often. Several different code readers saw nothing. Someone with a real FORD code read & retrieved a low injector pressure code. If you're not using an FORD code reader you may want to try that. JMHO. Good luck
