Same thing just happenned to me today.

you must of shelled your foward gears...

Did you put the entire 248,000 on that tranny, if not how many miles on it since last rebuild?

mine did that,blew out clutches in converter!,FIX new trannie 3g's
|
|
|||
|
Mine did that about four weeks ago, mine blew the planitary and sun gears in the overdrive and the pieces got into everything else and wreked it all, lucky for me this happened seven days after I bought the truck and the dealer paid for the rebuild.

CHECK MY THREAD... NOOB TRANSMISSION REBUILD!!! I thought I cooked something in mine, rebuilt it and everything looks great inside, I think it was just the torque converter or maybe a seal...
