slave cylinder

hey everyone the clutch pedal on my 96 has is very hard to press its been like this since i bought it i was wondering if a tired slave cylinder or maybe a bad through out Bering could cause this ?

Where the bearing rides on the trans collar gets corroded and dirty. Lots of drag. Trans will have to be removed. Continiud use will crack the firewall where the master cylinder is bolted on. Then you'll have a clutch job and a sheetmetal repair...
