OverDrive Light blinking

Hey Guys Please Help! My 01 Ford F-250 starting acting up today, it was running fine yesterday. Today I was driving and my Overdrive light started blinking and truck was shifting funny. Its an Automatic. I pulled over shut the truck off and restarted. After I restarted the overdrive light wasnt blinking, but truck is still shifting weird. The overdrive light will blink on and off everyone and in awhile, but the even with the light off the truck is still shifting weird. Any suggestions on what might be the problem?? Thanks

Mine did that when the abs speed sensor went out. It went into fail safe mode for a while, then other symptoms came up - no speedo, no tach, od light flashed, abs light stayed on.
Could be.

the flashing od light means that your tranny threw a code... get ahold of a good scanner and see what code it threw
