how many miles did you get out of your trans?

i'm at 151k, and mine is toast. i'm afraid to drive it now cause i never know where i will be when it craps out for good. all kinds of od lights, slipping all over the place, trans temp up, motor temp up. i've been prolonging it. i am not in the best financial situation right now, so i really don't have the money right now for it, because the family, and mortgage comes first. this is my second 7.3 i've had so i know the problems, and all about them. despite the name it's a 2000 f350. i have heard of a lot of people getting only 130k, and some passing 200k.

We had a 97 F250 at my old work and we got a hard 96xxx out of the auto trans. I was running great, then one of my co-workers in their infinite wisdom, hooked a 3000 lb trailer with an 8000 lb skid steer onto a truck weighing 10,600 already.. lol
