Trans problem? truck does not want to shift 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, and when in reverse it goes about 30 ft. and it feels like the brakes lockedup. 2002 f-250 185k,4x4 no power mods. installed sonnax shift kit at 35k. had bullydog chip and 18k before no shift mods on chip. Problaby toast?

changed fluid and filter. not to bad, a little bit of fine particles on magnet. looks like filter clogged up.

got the ae out and these are the codes
u1950 ubp communications error
p603 kam , reset with ae did not come back
p 0781 1-2 shift malf
p 0783 3-4 shift malf
issues with reverse are gone.

any suggestion on monitoring it? thanks

Y0u mean it has no upshifts at all???

well it will shift from 1-2 when i let off the fuel at speed, 2-3 no issue, 3-4 not at all. monitored temps and shifts with ae and the computer was calling for shifts but the the third shift never was called for. when o/d switch is off it seems to shift much better. this last test the o/d switch started blinking and the temp was reading 189 degrees according to the ae.

If the throttle sensor is reading high, the shifts will be very late and 4th may not happen.

changed out pedal 2 months ago on a witch hunt before i bought the ae, i do remember getting the tps high fault with ae first time i connected cleared the fault and have not gotten it again, changed to the original pedal. the laptop i use with ae is out of commission. Tested it did not shift, now the o/d is blinking as soon as i shift into drive. thanks

just thinking that my temperature issue may be the trans cooler plugged up, before i changed my trans filter, and fluid, i use a trans flush product sea foam trans flush, maybe it moved something out of the tc and into bypass or trans cooler, the reason i think this is because after i did this, my issue with reverse disappeared. and before did not have the flashing o/d light and temp issue . Any thoughts?

dropped line from trans cooler it flows, changed out differential speed sensor no change. o/d light does not flash anymore, thinking valve body.
