Question ZF S6-650 Rebuild info...

Anybody know where I can find rebuild info for this transmission? Anybody rebuilt one of these before? I can find the kits and parts but I'm not sure what the torque specs are and what (if any) bearing preload is needed? Most of the info from the ZF website are exploded diagrams and parts listings. Ebay and amazon didn't turn up anything either.
Yes, I would just "Take it in" but money is tight and that's just not as much fun

My Dad got to talking with the mechanics as the dealership today. they say I need a special tool to pull it apart and re-assemble (big lugs on side of case made me think of that too) and I would need a big oven to fit everything together (interference fit I assume?)
I can fabricate a jig to push-pull this thing, can even find dry ice and a torch to get the gears and bearings apart/together. Has anyone tried this in this transmission? Also, Ive heard that this tranny is prone to eating pilot bearings due to design, any experience with this?

I'm probably gonna order a Jasper rebuilt for this thing anyway, but I'm curious as to what you have run into.
