Will there be any issues swapping a 4r100 out of an 04 PSD into an 01?

i would assumethat 6.0 and 7.3 have different bolt patterns. I'm not sure but almost positive it would not bolt up. I don't have a 6.0 but my 7.3 has six bolts, two on each side of the outer bottom and two way up top.

04 psd's dont have 4r100's.

Yes, since the 04 has a 5R110 that won't bolt to a 7.3

Exactly. The 4R went up to the 03s. Unless some RARE 04s had em but doubt it.

Someone else chime in if i'm wrong but I don't think the 4r100 was mated to the 6.0 at all. I'm pretty sure it just ran into mid 03 with 7.3

4r100's were never mounted to a 6.0

It turned out not to be a 4r100 but the 5r110 wrong tranny but worth the look.
