Didnt wanna hear it..
I go from a $700 dollar "repair" to a $1,500 Rebuild? I was told that 4th gear and 2nd gear cluthches were bad, and could be replaced with new ones. Then i called a different shop and said better off just rebuilding it so that in three months same thing doesnt happen again.
Think i will go with a rebuild. Is their any Economical TC that would be worth buying to have them install, and a shift kit? Let me know what your opinion is? |

I'm not a 7.3 guy, but I say you should spend the money and have it 'built', not for insane racing and stuff, but for longevity. BTS is supposed to be a GREAT tranny builder, but I have no personal exp with them
. Good luck with whatever you decide

you will be rebuilding it again in 6 months to a year... just spend the money and build the transmission to last
