OD Light Flashes

My OD light flashes and when im cruising at 65 MPH i am running at about 2500RPM....Bad sensor???

How is it Shifting? Thats what mine started doing when i was getting up to speed. Then it blinked more frequently and i ended up having a bad tranny. i hope thats not your problem. but if it is get it rebuilt with a bigger torque converter. DONT DO THE FORD REMAN!

When my truck did it, it was just the speed sensor on the rear axle!
no problem, cheap and easy fix.

I would start with that and go from there!

i call that light the i need a new trans light. sorry but do like the others said and start with the cheap stuff.

Hook up a scanner and read the code and trouble shoot with the data recieved .
