Overdrive or not

I was told not to use OD while driving in the city is this correct? I would not use while towing local or in town but will use it while towing on freeway is this bad? any info would ease my mind thanks 2001 f350 PSD

I never took my 95 out of O/D for in town driving. It won't hurt anything. As far as towing, it depends on what kind of weight and terrain.

well if you are towing you dont really want it switching in and out of OD. if its doing that that take it out of OD till you get to higher speeds. what gears?
