clutch noise

In my truck when it's ideling i can hear a ratteling sound or vibrating type sound when the clutch is realsed but when you push the pedel in it goes away. Any ideas what this could be? i just noticed it saturday morning?

POS dual mass fly wheel. How many miles on it, and how often has it seen a load like your sig pic?

165,000 miles. I normally pull atleast 5-6000 pounds about once a week or so. Mabey a big load once a month.

so if it is the flywheel is it just something i'm going to have to live with or do i need to start shopping for a new flywheel and clutch?

The noise hasnt got any worse. but has damage allredy been done

I have the same mileage on my flywheel. I am going to be getting a single mass Southbend clutch set up.

Schedule a clutch job as soon as possible. It will come apart on you sooner or later.
