Tranny shifts hard

i know the tranny is going to shift hard with a tuner. but my stock 4r100 started shifting really hard. Hard enough when you stand on from i cant remember it is either 1st to 2nd. or 2nd to 3rd it will chirp the tires. all the other shifts are firm but i was just curious if it is a good or bad thing when it shifts that hard but otherwise everything seems fine.
