short shifting
While pulling around 7500 pounds on a 1200 mile trip, my trans starting shifting short. Mainly from 1st to 2nd. It is still doing it even with out a load. Yesterday it shuttered while accelerating. Black smoke was rolling, but truck didnt want to go. I noticed to that it is shifting harder. Any ideas???
The truck only has 68,000 miles & trans only has 38,000 on it. I put a jw valve body in it when I put the dp chip in. Flushed the trans at the same time. This was a little over a year ago.
