she's gettin rebuilt tomorrow

Well i decided that instead of throwing money at my trans to just put a band aid on it, i am just gonna have it gone thru. The towing season is here for me and i can't afford to risk it going out while i'm on my trips. I will let you guys know how it turns out. Its getting the transgo tugger HD2 shift kit installed too.

Yeah, we'll see how much the trans actually comes out to be. After that i will consider the injector. At least it seems to run fine, it just throws that code and still has the slight miss every once in a while. If my trans takes a dump i'm stuck.

What prices did you guys pay for a rebuild on your trans? Now i'm talking about a local shop doing it, not a BTS or john wood.

Well i found out that my low/reverse clutches were kinda burnt and a snap spring fell off and was laying in the bottom of the pan. Also they told me it looked like my converter had spit a bunch of junk that was also laying in my pan. I guess my trans was a time bomb waiting to go off with that snap spring laying in the pan. Oh well, it should be all done tomorrow or friday.
