Shift to reverse talking a long time

when I shift into reverse it takes a solid 3 seconds to engage, Its done this for a long time and hasnt gotten worse over time but it annoys me, Id like to tighten it up a lil

Tranny is going. MY F150 used to do that. The pause got longer and longer and then it began slipping if you gassed it in reverse. Then the forward gears started going.
