What to ask for in a New Trans

Well my tranny or TC is staring to slip. it seems to slip in first, then slam hard into second, and them slip in third. I am going to bring the truck in on Monday and i am wondering what i should have done. what should i ask for? I want a trans that will not slip with mods and last a while. Thanks for your advise in advance, Bob

i just had the same thing happen with my truck. had to have my tranny replaced...... if you wanna get a brand new tranny go with suncoast i have heard nothing but good things withthese guys.... now if you wanna save some money go with suncoast rebuild kit.. but first when you go in there they will prolly diagnose the problem which prolly started with tc going bad then making everything else go bad as well..... are your trans temps going higher then 180 or 200 at all with just normal driving.... cuz im sure thats a sign.... i had that sign on my tranny as well... but if you wanna save some away time from your rig just go in there and tell them you want a new tranny or a rebuild from suncoast or whichever you go with

I looked for a 6 speed for six months and gave up. is it true that the floor in trucks with the 6 speed is taller?
