Any shop that works on these trans NEEDS to know what kind of chip or programmer you are useing. You need to also discuss this with them about the warranty. If you don't and you have trans problem and then they find out about the programmer, you may have a voided warranty. Be up front with them. The final test drive needs to be with and without the programmer.
The guy that uses his truck to pull his bass boat does not get the same rebuild as the guy who pulls a 12,000 lb work trailer. Preston

well all they are doing is installing the kit... i had TCI build me a kit that will be able to handle anything i dish out now and with future mods..... they already know about the tuner/programmer... if i actually broke a part i would have to go to TCI... all AAMCO is warranting is that they installed it correctly... thanks for the info

well it wasnt an off the shelf item... most of the parts were specially made for me thats y it took them 3 weeks to get it to me.... they had built this kit for a powerstroke making over 600 hp.. tractor pullling truck.... so they offered me a discount price since i am a dealer.... if you want to know the price i can pm you but the retail price on this tranny "According to them" is lil over 6k for the complete built tranny.....all i did is have them ship me all the same parts instead of haviing them build it for me so i saved a lil on that.... let me know if you have any other questions..'
