Need tranny help

Last Thursday I install a TS performance chip in my 2002 F-250 CC. I have never had any tranny issues, it has alway shifted fine, no burnt or discolored fluid.

After about 15 miles the truck shifted 1-2 fine and never into 3rd. It was not slipping it just would not go. I did not have reverse either.

I let the truck sit, put the chip in "stock" and it was fine. Put the chip back on and it was ok for a while.

The next day I was going on a trip. Truck ran fine it was up to normal temp and the truck would not go into 3rd and no reverse. I let the truck sit and pulled the chip out. Fluid was still good. Truck sat for a while got back in the reverse worked and it shifted fine again. Then the next town it would not shift into 3rd and no reverse.

???? why when it is cold does it shift fine, level is good, not burnt ???

check to make sure the chip connection is good and clean... a bad connection can cause some crazy stuff... also is it the standard TS chip with regular tunes or custom tunes???

Hmm... I can think of a bad connection or a bad solenoid. I had that problem and my transmission would start out in 3rd from a dead stop and never touch 1st or 2nd.
