is it like absolutely no power or like 5% at best? i had this happen to me after i burned a little tranny fluid. i gave her some rest and the next day she drove fine and then randomly the trans went limp. it had like 5% at best.

Wheel chocks placed by kids in the neighborhood?
I remember many years ago several of us super glueing my boss's VW wagon to his garage floor. When she finally popped loose it left four chunks of rubber on the concrete. We bought him a new set of tires!

This sounds exactly what my truck did to me last night. I was able to limp home and get it on the lift.

Drain some of your fluid out into a a clean towel. Inspect it for foreign particles. You should have no chunks and no gold slivers. If you do that is bad.

Then remove the pan carefully and inspect what is in the bottom. Again should be no chuncks.

Remove the filter and cut it open. You may find that you have a clogged filter and it is not picking up fluid.

I have not finished yet but I am changing my filter and adding new fluid. I will drive it a couple of days then do it again. I found some clutch material inside my filter.

I was very near the interval to changer the filter and fluid. I also tow near the max often.
