blue smoke condition, need advice

A couple days ago, i noticed while sitting on a hill at a light, i would get some blue smoke puffing out when the truck was at idle. jump on it, and it went away.

now, i notice the blue smoke when i'm on it hard, and mixed with black smoke when i get on it from a stop. it's not terrible, but it's noticable. and it's all while on an 80hp economy tune. the truck doesn't run rough really, but i do think it could run a little smoother.

when i'm coming down hill to a stop, or on an off ramp and finally get close to a stop, and the trans unlocks, the rpms drop down to almost 500, like it almost wants to stall and then it goes back to normal, if that has anything to do with it (brand new IPR in december)

Have you taken the oil fill cap off while it is running to see if you have any blowby, this sounds like what happened to my '97.
