slow start

I'm new here and new to diesels. Just bought an 02 250 with 119k. Takes 3 to 4 seconds to start every time even when its warm. Runs great after start and has no smoke when it does start. What should I be ckecking ?

On a diesel it does take alot longer to start and that sounds about normal. You could check the condition of your batteries to be safe though.
