Connecting Rod??? PLEASEE HELP!

Friday afternoon I started my truck to leave work, put it in gear to drive down the road, notice a ticking noise, then hurd fluid spilling....so i shut the truck down jumped out and there was oil all over the ground....first thing i thought was i may have had a defective oil filter and blew the seal, after trying to get the oil filter off for 2 hours I cut the thing off with a sawzall only to find a bolt broken the punctured trough my oil pan into my oil filter. The bolt is threaeded into what looks like a small block. I have not dropped the oil pan.

Im lost here, The truck is an 2001 it had a new crate engine put in at ford in 2006 and that engine only has 45,000 miles on it. I have minor mods, " intake, exhaust, and DP tuner that ive only had on the high setting once, I mainly run it on stock or 80. Prior to this the engine was not running rough or different.

Any Idea's would be great, Also can i clear my computer to get the chip to not show up because i think i might be able to get a new engine out of ford. I mean it only has 45k on it and this happens????
