OIL PRESSURE " 0 " ON START UP ???

Just recently my truck has been reading zero oil pressure upon start up. It takes about 10 mintues of idle to finally get the oil pressure up to were it needs to be. The truck starts fine runs great and has no other issues. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else before I start digging into it.

Thanks for the help in advance

Is this with your stock gauge or an aftermarket one? If aftermarket then I would think you have a pump problem. If it is the stock one i would change the sending unit, I had the same problem on my Ranger a few years back and it fixed my problem.

if it didnt have oil pressure then it wouldnt run at all, so replace the sending unit on the top of the reservoir first
