99 550 Fuel cutting out.. pump??? have codes
99' (July) f550 7.3 diesel. The truck will run great then next time you start it up it revs up real slow. Runs kinda like they do in the winter time when it is cold and you forget to plug it in.
Yesterday i was driving it and it took 3 miles to get up to 50 mph (it wasn't missing or anything just had no power) , when i got to the red light it died. So i turned the key on and off twice and then it ran great. It blew alot of black smake right when it started back up. HAve not had any trouble since then.
This is the second time it has done this. Once a last year. Pulled the codes off the super chip: 1209 injection ctrl system pres peak fault
1211 ICP not controllable - pres above/below
Anyone have a clue.
I have been told i need to change the oil in the injection pump? never heard that anyone???
