EGT's

What kind of Egt's are safe? I have A 2000 Powerstroke with a Edge evolution, intake, Turbo back exhaust. I see 1500 when WOT. What is a solution to the high egt's?

1500 is hot man. Too hot. Check your system for boost leaks. Check your up pipes for leaks. I am fighting the same problems.

A lighter foot. Unless you wanna spend the coin on a water/meth injection system. Better custom tuning would help some. And your transmission would thank you as well.

1200* is ok for long runs, up to 1500* on SHORT/QUICK runs is ok, some things to help this is an intake and an exhaust
