Truck lost power pulled these codes out of IDM. Had not had a chance to dig in yet. I am thinking wiring harness on bank 1 but am not sure. Hope its not the IDM has anyone had experiance with this? Its a 2001 excursion 160,000.
The codes are injector cir low 1,2,7 and high to low side open 1,7,3 Injector mod failure and multiable faults bank 1.

IDM's are easy to replace, not a cheap part if you go with OEM. I replaced my IDM about a year ago, $1100.

Well valve cover is off looks like corroded connections at plug. Will clean up and redo buzz test.

Well that did it. Just a bad connection at valve cover. Also had a bad connection at glow plug control module on #1 gp circuit. Now the only problem is a back pressure sensor fault but it is not tripping the check engine light. Has anyone any thoughts on weather i should worry about this sensor or not?

The cost is $250 for tool and then $150 for enhanced ford to go with it. But it is well worth thr price. You can check every sensor on truck live.includes buzz test on injecters. look into it they advertise on this forum.
PS my problem was the connector outside the VC.
