Camsensor issues back press issues

New to forum

I reciently had a cam sensor go out in my 96. A buddy of mine gave me one forom a 97. The truck runs fine but am getting a new code that says something about a cylinder gounding. I have seen some postings about 94-96 sensors and 97-01 sensors being different could this problem come from that 97 sensor. Also im getting a code (had it for awhile) about the exaust back pressure sensor being bad. Ford wants 180.00 for one any idea where I can get one cheaper or a way to test mine. Thanks

I can not answer your question right now, but I am sure someone will bealong shortly that can. Other than maybe try a CPS that is for your year , or maybe the one that you got was going bad too...I dunno. But, someone should beable to help you out and get you back on the road in no time.

Like Logan, I cannot help you with your tech issue, but keep checking back because we have several people who are very good, and I am sure that at least one of them will see this soon and reply.
