Wet weather stalling

I've got a buddy with an 02 and his truck will just randomly die when it's raining, but it always cranks right back up. That's the only symptom he gave me. I thought I remembered reading something similar to this on here but I can't seem to find it from searching. So I hoped you guys can maybe offer up some suggestions for me to give him.

Has he had his windshield replaced recently? Almost sounds like water leaking into some wiring & possibly shorting something out. Only a possibility.

I agree it's got to be from it leaking somewhere but his windshield is original. He has had some work done on the front end because....well the man can't drive so that may be the cause. But what would be shorting from the leak? Anything in particular to look for?

I'm guessing to look for moisture around the fuse box, & anyother wiring under the steering column. I'm also wondering if there's an exposed wire somewhere between the alt., & starter getting wet.
