Overboost?

Has anyone ever experienced an overboost condition with the wastegate hooked up? I tried it unhooked in the past and everytime I would get on it pretty hard (around 3000 rpm's) the pcm would set an overboost code. This happened to me the other day but the SEL went off relatively quickly with the wastegate hooked up. Any ideas. Sticking wastegate perhaps?
Refer to my sig. for my current mods. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

your intake and tuner help increase boost.

I get a boost code w/ intake/exhaust and nothing else. Don't fret it - just make sure you're not boosting at like 30psi all day...

Thanks Maintain Kind of figured that might have been causing it. I don't hardly ever rev her up that high. Anything past 3 grand on a diesel tends to scare me
