High RPMs

Has anyone ever experienced high rpms when they first start their truck. Sometimes I will leave me chip in extreme when I turn the truck off and occasionally it will start up with the rpms being much higher than normal idle. I will switch the chip back to normal and nothing. Any ieas

On extreme mine does that. It kinda jumps up aswell, like a lope almost, just far more agressive. I dont know how well my chip is working though.

Like a crank crank crank VROOM idle idle idle? If it's like that I wouldn't be worried.

Yeah mine does that, it starts more like a gasser, revs to about 1000 or so then drops. Some times when its colder than chit, ill start it in daily, it has more cold start problems in econ than daily.

Well it will crank up and stay there until i drive round for a while or put it in drive and then back in park. Hasn't done it since it got a little warmer but it has done it when it was warm out also. Im not really worried about it. Just wondering
