new truck need help

hey im new to the site and just got a 95 7.3 powerstroke. i had a few questions, im new to diesels. and it has trouble on cold starts and also it acts up when you get into it up a hill. first off when i try starting it cold it blows a ton of blueish white smoke and has a miss. i wanted to try the buzz test but i dont know what i need to do the test. also on a 95 being obd1 can i just jump the two wires on the dlc to get the flash codes?

2nd problem when i was drivin it home it started acting up. it started chocking and blowin white smoke and i tried to clear it up by pushin the clutch in and reving it but it hesitated real bad and started missing real bad i almost had to pull over.

any guidance/help would be appreciated. thanks rick

i'd say the cold start issue is related to your glow-plug system. Might want to check your glow-plug Relay; if it's good then you need to replace your glow plugs.

Chances are that someone will see it from the home page anyway, so they won't know what section its in
