Chatter sound caused by this

But what exactally is this? Its been causing a chattering sound at higher RPMs and I just found out today that this is the problem. It is rusted off of the manifold.




And this is where it leads to.

That's your exhaust back pressure sensor. You can get a replacement exhaust back pressure tube from the dealer. I'd also check the sensor and make sure its not clogged with soot as well.

Trust was a former salting/ plow truck. Underneath is pretty bad.
