white smoke from oil filler
I have a little bit of white smoking coming from the oil filler of my early 99 PSD. only 130000 miles. Truck runs good but i do need new injectors for a fact. plan on replacing them very soon. The white smoke is that blow by? if goes away when i rev up the engine. it does use really any oil. starts up just fine. On a cold start it when it fires it sounds like its got a badass cam in it, just for a couple seconds till i just press the gas a little. any help on if the little white blowby smoke is bad? and my cold start really rough idle?

I don't really know about the white smoke, but as for cold starts, mine sounds like it is about to fly apart till it warms up. I am sure that is normal.

just sounds like condensation burning away to me...How often do you drive the truck?

White smoke puffing out the oil fill with the engine idling is normal, and yes it is blow by. To see whether or not you need to be concerned, put your oil cap upside down over the fill spout. If it slowly rattles off you're fine, if it goes blowing up into the air then you've got excessive blow by.
