missing on a cyliner???HELP PLEASE!!!

Last night a buddy of mine was racing a crapbox honda. after the race we were pulling into a quick mart to grab a 12r and all the sudden his truck starts missing. There is no un burnt fuel out the exhaust as well as no burning oil. the exhaust is clean out the pipe. Any ideas?

It's a 7.3 or he posted in the wrong section.

Scan for codes.

After what I went through on my truck i'd say it's an injector. When the injector went on my 7.3 it was just a matter of turning the truck off and when I turned it back on 20 minutes later it was skipping.

ya sorry it was a 7.3 and since it was so low on fuel he sucked some air into the system causing it to miss. started it up the next day and it ran perfect after he put some diesel in.
