Noise and P1298 and P0284

I was looking into a noise that sounded like a rod, but I understand that bad injectors can sound like a rod knock. The noise would be intermitint at idle.

Run a buzz and contribution test on a OTC Genesis. It returned theses codes.

Buzz test P1298 Ignition Diagnostic Monitor Failure
Contribution Test P0284 Cylinder # 8 contribution or Balance Fault

My question is could the #8 injector be cause the noise and both faults?

Thanks
