Blue smoke

My truck was hydro locked from my smow s water meth It sat for a week before the mechanic got it running now it blowing major blue smoke I m thinkig a valve must be hanging anyone else got any ideas????

your defianlty burning oil. maybe a valve keeper fell off or valve is stuck or your rings got shot in the process.

If it is a stuck valve any chance it could loose up on its own??/

It s looking more and more like I broke a ring It runs ok under heavy thottle but crusing at low rpms it has as miss and the truck shutters and blue smoke all the time So it looks like the motor is coming apart any suggestions on things I should have done while it s apart ?? It has 117,000 miles on it if that helps any

Was this a defect in snows product that caused this?

No I guess not.THere is a solenoid UPGRADE that is supposed to stop the water from gravity pushing the water into the cylinders I did not have it and did not even now that this was a possibility
Now a forty dollar part is going to cost me thousands I am so pissed I can t think about anything else but that People are telling me that it would be almost cheaper to replace the engine than it s going to be to have somone replace the rings

that realy is not to much of a complicated job are you good with a wrench?
If you are going to spend that kind of money for a new motor I hate to sugjest it but cummins is a good implant.

Dude...I'm sorry about your truck. From the sound of it...it looks like your not going to be able to get Snow to even pay for a little bit of it....(though I would try.) If I was in AZ I would 150% come and help you with the rebuild/fix.

Ya I m pretty bummin But I love my truck so I will what I have to get her fixed
I ve done little things myself like the ats housing and the new inner coolerand the waste gate but I think this over my head I ve never cracked into a motor with more than one cylinder
Anyone know where to get a rebuild kit ?? I d like to upgrade whatever I can within reason price wise I m thinking $1500-$2000
As far as the cummings swap the motor is a decent price but I m thinking its all the other stuff that needs to be swaped would just nickle and dime me to death but thanks for the offer
