No Start - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum

No Start

replaced the high pressure oil pump because it was leaking, and replaced two fuel lines that are on the same bracket that come up from the frame rail behind the alternator and into the driver side of the fuel filter housing, replaced the fuel filter and filled the bowl as well. Now when i go to start it, it only starts when i have a gas soaked rag to the intake, and it doesnt run well or for very long. Any suggestions????!!!

Can you pull any codes & try a buzz test? Does your tach move when you try to crank it?
