Exclamation Water separator for E 350

I have a 1999 E 350 Powerstroke. Its is leaking fuel out of the drain tube. The filter looks the same as my 2002 F 250 except for the drain lever is near the hood and extends to the filter via plastic tube. Pull to drain. From the filter a metal tube extends to the bottom of engine area. It drains okay but dribbles and gets my under carrage all wet. Anyone familiar and is the repair the same as pickup.
Thanks,

Fred
