no start/ extended crank warm

i just put an engine in my truck it has 45k on the engine. after it warms up it has a long crank time or wont start when warm. when its cold starts fine. the hpop is off the original engine which has 269k. the icp, ipr, and cps are all new. no ses light onlly flashes every once in a while. thanks for any help
