Error code P1210
My truck shuts off momentarily then comes back on during freeway driving. It seems to do this when I let off the throttle. I get error code P1210. Does anyone know the fix for this? The code reader says it is a fuel air mixture thing but the Ford code list says it is an injector pressure problem.

you might want to start by replacing the injector pressure sensor (IPS).
That would be a good starting point, plus they are not to much. Check ebay. Other people might have better ideas. Below is what it means direct from the ford service manual. DTC P1210 indicates ICP signal voltage was greater than expected during KOEO On-Demand Self Test. Possible causes: -- biased ICP sensor -- open ICP signal return -- signal circuit shorted to power -- damaged PCM l Disconnect ICP sensor harness connector. l Measure resistance between signal return Circuit 359 (GY/R) Pin A and ground. l Is resistance less than 5 ohms? |

Opps that should have said the ICP sensor one the first line not IPS
If the resistance is less than 5 ohms than its more propblems if it is not than the sensor is bad. |

What is the location of the ICP sensor? I saw a thread on here of where all the sensors are located but now I cant find it.

top front of the motor drivers side just above the valve cover.
To the drivers side of the high pressure oil system. |
