got cps recall letter
Ford sent the CPS recall letter to me...I have already replaced it and haven't had a problem since except one slight jerk that did throw a CPS code but it has been months since any problems like I had before I replaced it.
Should I take it in and have them replace it under recall or not? |

I kept a CPS in my truck, after hearing about failures and when it happened to me. I was close to home and called a friend to tow me, but when he got there, it started up xand almost made it home, then quit -started. I took it in and they replaced it.

I see your point, as long as they give me my old one back to keep as a spare because it seems like a good one!

Yep I got the letter in the mail today as well. I'll take it to the dealer for the free replacement ....right after I install my new turbo.
