won't warm up!!!

Well my temp. gause only goes about 3/8 way up and takes a lot longer to get to even that. Used to ride about 1/2. I'm thinking thermostat stuck open, any other opinions? How likely is it that the temp. gauge may not be working correctly, all gauges are OEM in the dash.

heater doesn't really blow hot unless on the interstate and running about 2,000 rpm for a bit...guess I'll be putting in a thermostat.
