7.3 Turbo Question

Got a friend that has a 99 7.3 and he needs a new turbo. Are all the turbos for the 7.3 the same for 99-03? Trying to help him out. Appreciate any info.

I know the early 99's have the wicked wheel but thats the only difference I know of!

i'm not 100% accurate, but i thought that if you would happen to buy an early 99 turbo then the up pipes or spider pipes would be wrong........but don't know for sure if i even know what i'm talking about either

early 99 turbos are different and wont work on a 99.5 - 03

What constitutes an early 99?
