hard starting

i have a 96 psd and it is hard to start when it sets for a day or two i repaced the glow plugs and relay it will start if pluged in the the wires are good that go to the injectors and glow plugs when cranking it will throw alot of white smoke batterys are brand new also if any buddy has a idea let me know

My 96 7.3 had a low oil pressure drainback problem so it took a while for the oil to reach high pressure pump. check valve under timing cover was bad.
